Another foreign visitor, Shred Stixx coalition rider, Dominic Lagace has been staying in our city already for a week.

Unfortunately due to bad weather and busy schedule, we were able to shoot him only at this final day of the summer. And again at the main spot of Russia – Red Square. We managed to ride at the center of capital not for long, because water police brought our boat to the base, where we were fined for the lack of lifebuoys and radio set. But that couldn’t stop us from taking couple of shots.

Chase saw Moscow and its sights for the first time, and we saw “in REAL” wakesurfing of the highest level.

On June 26, 2010 in the heart of our capital, at Vasilievsky spusk, the third round of the world’s biggest competition of freestyle motorcross Red Bull X-Fighters will take place.

A few days before that Vasily Kovalev (Dostupny Extreme, MTV, Quiksilver) invited Drake McElroy and a film crew to try Russian wakesurf. Drake McElroy is the most charismatic and stylish rider in the history of freestyle motocross. He is one of the best! But now he doesn’t take part in the competitions, decided to produce movies.

For the first time he tried wakesurfing 4 years ago. In Moscow it was his second attempt. After 10 minutes he swallowed some water, Drake decided to ride without a rope. And he did a great job! Next one was his friend – Malcom McCassy (one of the founders of the Ethika Inc.). Malcom was born and grew up in California. As soon as he got into water, it became clear that he was a surfer and rode very well.  The only one thing wasn’t familiar to him – fresh water and very small wave for him.

26 июня 2010 года в самом сердце нашей столицы, на Васильевском спуске, пройдет третий этап крупнейших в мире соревнований по фристайл-мотокроссу Red Bull X-Fighters.

За несколько дней до этого мероприятия Василий Ковалев (Доступный Экстрим, MTV, Quiksilver) пригласил Drake McElroy и сьемочную группу попробовать российский вейксерфинг. Drake McElroy самый харизматичный и стильный райдер в истории фристайл мотокросса. Он один из лучших! Но сейчас он официально не выступает, решив посвятить себя продюссированию и сьемкам.

Впервые Drake попробовал вейксерфинг 4 года назад. В Москве была его вторая попытка. Спустя минут 10, от души нахлебавшись московской водички, Drake поехал без фала. И у него хорошо получилось! Следующим решил попробовать его друг – Malcom McCassy (один из основателей компании Ethika Inc.). Malcom родился и вырос в Калифорнии. Как тока он спустился на воду, по первым его движениям стало ясно, что он серфер и катается очень хорошо. Единственное что было не привычно ему – это пресная вода и очень маленькая для него волна.
